After 28 years Frank Boal is leaving FOX 4. Frank made the announcement on FOX 4 News at 6pm.

Frank has covered every major sporting event, including the Royals 1985 World Series Championship, Major League All-Star games, the NFL's Chiefs; Missouri, Kansas and Kansas St. college athletics; the former Kansas City Kings and NBA playoffs; and golfing Hall of Famer Tom Watson.

Frank will not be leaving the Kansas City sports scene. He will be appearing regularly on Sports Radio 810 WHB.

Frank's last day will be Tuesday, June 30.
