ST. LOUIS is the latest market to get JACKed, or at least a version of the eclectic Variety Hits format, as BONNEVILLE Smooth Jazz WSSM flips to become 106.5 THE ARCH with the promise "from ABBA to ZZ TOP and everything in between! 70S, 80S... WHATEVER WE WANT." 106.5 THE ARCH will remain commercial free and jockless for the first week.

The SUNDAY (4/10) flip didn't entirely eliminate the Smooth Jazz format, which has moved to online-only streaming at the station's old wssm.com website, while THE ARCH is also online at 1065thearch.com, which is being programmed by WSSM PD DAVID MYERS who remains with BONNEVILLE/ST. LOUIS. He will have other duties to be announced, soon.
