Union Broadcasting is NOT being sold
April 2, 2004
UNION BROADCASTING Pres. CHAD BOEGER tells the KANSAS CITY STAR that the company's local KANSAS CITY cluster -- Sports WHB-A, Talk KCTE-A, and Modern AC KZPL (97.3 THE PLANET) -- is not being sold to CUMULUS. BOEGER told the STAR that "basically, we're very happy being locally owned. We got into this business because we wanted to build something locally that we could be proud of, and we've done that. Our owners believe in that." BOEGER said that majority owner JERRY GREEN would agree that "we're not for sale." |
