GEORGE NOORY, movie star? The ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH's DEB PETERSON reports that NOORY has gone HOLLYWOOD and will play himself in two appropriately plotted films, one "about a sheriff who learns that a young child is a ghost" and the other "about a woman who invents a free-energy car and then is pursued by people who don't want the vehicle on the market."

More Info: Hometowner George Noory (formerly the Nighthawk of KTRS-AM radio is slated to star in two movies. Noory - who replaced Art Bell weekdays on Coast to Coast AM - is playing himself in both films. One is about a sheriff who learns that a young child is a ghost; the other is about a woman who invents a free-energy car and then is pursued by people who don't want the vehicle on the market. The films are set to begin production early next year. Noory's 500-station syndicated radio show now originates out of LALAland. The films sound like good vehicles for the man who discusses life's stranger side in the wee, wee hours of the morning - midnight to 5 a.m. (St. Louis-Post-Dispatch)
