Rumors become reality as Infinity VP/AC Programming and KYKY (Y98) & KEZK (SOFT ROCK 102.5) OM/PD Smokey Rivers officially becomes the new PD at BLINK 102.7/NEW YORK, replacing Steve Kingston.

RIVERS, who retains his INFINITY VP/AC Programming duties, told ALL ACCESS: "The more involved I became in the day-to-day operations at BLINK, the more it became evident to me and (Sr. VP/GM) MAIRE MASON that we should be on the same team. I will move to NEW YORK soon, but will be traveling back and forth over the next few weeks getting a transition plan together for ST. LOUIS and assisting Sr. VP/Market Mgr. BETH DAVIS in choosing a successor.

"I am most proud of the team's accomplishments here, as these two stations are in great shape. In the summer book, KEZK was #1 45-54's and KYKY was #1 25-34's and the stations tied for number one in a dead heat for 35-44. I am looking forward to great things in NEW YORK at BLINK."
