CLEAR CHANNEL Country KZSN/WICHITA, KS PD CHUCK GEIGER tells his wild experience on air this morning (9/19) while filling in for KZSN morning man DON HALL. GEIGER and KZSN morning show co-host PAT MOYER were conducting the weekly HUMANE SOCIETY pet of the week interview when one of the featured pets, a black cat got under the board and rack and shut off the PROPHET computer and power to the board. Luckily, the station was only off air for a few minutes while the cat was removed and we're happy to report that both pets were adopted. However, the cats have been appropriately renamed CHARGE and STATIC.
Meanwhile, GEIGER reports about KZSN's brand new music show, "LEFT OF CENTER." GEIGER says the show will be "very unique," delving into the world of Americana and progressive Country, with new and classic material. The show will run on SUNDAY nights at 10, hosted by MD DAN HOLIDAY. Some of the highlights in a sample hour that GEIGER provided to ALL ACCESS were "Take Me Out To The Dancehall," by PAT GREEN, JOHNNY CASH's "Hurt," "What I Can't Have," from the WARREN BROTHERS and JOHN MELLENCAMP's "Tears." |
